As veterinarians, clients often expect us to know about all species - great, small, feathered or scaly. Our service provides a real-time consultancy service to Australian veterinarians for all exotic animals, during hours where other exotic animal veterinarians are often not available.

Surgical advice
Is it your first time spaying a rabbit? Or do you have an exotic animal that requires an after-hours emergency procedure? We can offer real-time advice over the phone or email to help you prepare for these situations.
If you are located in the Canberra region, we can also provide in-person support.
Site visits
Is your clinic or organisation local to Canberra? If so, The Exotic Animal Vet offers site visits to help train your staff or to conduct health exams on your animal collection. We are trained in a wide variety of species such as birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and small mammals like rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, rats and mice.
